NOTICE TO OWNER(S) OF LAND AFFECTED BY THE PROPOSED OTTAWA RIVER STREAM ENHANCEMENT PROJECT, #1239

The proposed clean up of the Ottawa River from the Hardin County line through Allen and Putnam counties to the outlet at the Auglaize River, west of Kalida, Ohio has been presented to the Joint Board of County Commissioners from Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin and Putnam Counties.  

The following owners are hereby given legal notice that on March 29, 2006 the final hearing was held for the OTTAWA RIVER STREAM ENHANCEMENT PROJECT #1239.  The proposed plan for the improvements to the Ottawa River affecting land in Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin and Putnam counties has been recommended by the Joint Board of Soil and Water Districts and accepted by the Joint Board of County Commissioners as proposed.  The estimated assessment of $15 for construction and $2 for maintenance, for a total of $17 is proposed for each parcel of land listed below.   

A written letter of objection to the assessment may be filed within 30 days of the last publication of this notice to the Allen County Commissioner’s Office located at 301 N. Main Street , Lima , Ohio   45801 .  

A copy of the project plans can be viewed at your local Soil and Water District office of the Allen County Soil and Water Conservation District office, 3900 Campus Drive, Suite A, Lima , Ohio . Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
